Gin and Jazz Spectacular

On Tuesday, Martin Miller’s hosted a Gin & Jazz night in London Bridge. A five-piece jazz band, complimentary Martin Miller’s Gin cocktails, and the fantastic hospitality of Cecil’s bar made for a truly memorable evening.

Proceedings kicked off with a welcome from company CEO Jacob Ehrenkrona, who remarked on the evolving status of London as the cocktail capital of the world, and the proud role that Martin Miller’s continues to play in the gin renaissance of recent years, before handing over to the band.

Jazz enthusiasts were treated to three incredible sets throughout the evening, and band leader Jay took some time off the stage to lead two interactive sessions about the history of jazz – from its roots among the slaves of New Orleans, to the bebop jazz of the 1940s and 50s, and everything in between.

Meanwhile, gin-lovers were spoiled with not only a special menu of Martin Miller’s Gin cocktails, but also the chance to attend a Gin Masterclass with Brand Ambassador Jackie Lai, to learn more about the history of Martin Miller’s and the botanicals essential to creating its famous flavour.

Gin and jazz have always been a perfect combination, and the two were certainly a match made in heaven at Cecil’s.

Martin Miller’s Gin has teamed with Young’s to host many more Gin & Jazz nights over the coming months – please check out our events page for further details.
